Velvet Acid Christ

From Academic Kids

Velvet Acid Christ is a band from the USA and located in Denver producing electronic music of multiple genres focusing on the larger umbrella of goth/industrial. This includes EBM, Electro-Industrial, Synth Pop, Goth Rock, Darkwave, Power Noise, Goa Trance and Psy Trance. VAC's frontman, Bryan Erickson, also known as "hexfix93" or "disease factory", is a vegan with a profound beliefs regarding the evils of Christianity. Erickson claims to draw inspiration in the pain of existence wrought upon him by abusive parents and a indifferent culture of death parading in faux light. His music is dark, complex and emotional, with a standard of composition many fans feel exceeds most; focusing on a poignant juxtapost of pain and beauty. The band spawned several club hits with their release of Fun With Knives and "Twisted Thought Generator".

The album Hex Angel was number one on the DAC (Deutsche Alternative Charts) for 4 weeks.
